Economy
Had my first non-weather related conversation today, actually one of the, if not the, only conversation of substance I've had. We talked about the economy and how tough it had been on him and his business (courier). It was kind of refreshing. The case of the missing cooler!?!
Went to load up my cooler full of pop today only to find it had been stolen. Who steals a broken cooler full of pop from someone's property. This sucks in a week I can barely afford meat, to be out 6 cases of pop.

Funnel caking it.
So on weekends I trade my bbq in for deep fryers and sell funnel cakes at local events. Today we went to the mount forest fireworks day. It was a good day but it could have been busier. We basically broke even on what we spent out. The good news is that all future events will be 100 profit as we own pretty much every thing you need to set up, make and sell funnel cakes. We are still learning what works and what doesn't and we should have the hole system down pat soon.
One thing is tough are the 18 hour days with no break. Gonna need some good people soon so I don't throw little tired fits like I did tonight. All in all its been a really fun learning curve. More on this to come.

Whoops
Waisted a whole bag of boneless rib sandwiches cuz I left them in the cart over night. 25 bucks later... For a split second I thought about using them as they felt cool to the touch still. But in the end human decency won as I didn't want to put anyone thru violent vomiting.

To sit or not to sit
Moments ago, while out buying bbq supplies for the cart I witnessed a "rough looking" couple arguing about weather or not to sit on this bench. It was a touch loud and awkward but I had to see how it played out. In the end the dude won and they didn't end up sitting on the bench. You be the judge, but it seems like a lovely bench to me.

Location, location, location!
I've been here for almost 4 weeks now and it just isnt busy enough. I'm seriously considering taking the $155 hit and moving somewhere else. Any thoughts?

Was a slow day. Only went though about 18 buns. A bit nervous to count my cash box. Might be a bit depressing. Why don't these office folk eat more street meat?
